Thread: Merry Christmas from Vietnam

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to send Christmas and New Years greetings to everyone from Vietnam.
I am sure this is going to be my hottest Christmas ever as I come from England. I came here to VN to live in August - and am just getting used to the weather, traffic and electricity here. I reckon I save my work on the computer more often now as I never know when there is going to be a power cut!!!! Vietnam must be world renowned for this lol.

So whilst everyone in the Northern Hemisphere is probably shivering with the cold remember poor old me sweating in VN. Will probably sweat more when I don my Father Christmas outfit for my friends children on Christmas day lol

In what part of VN are you living?

Hello to you, Happy Holidays

Hi, Am living and working in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) but have also visited Can Tho, Vung Tau and Binh Chau Hot Spring Resort. Christmas in VN is not celebrated as much as in the Northern Hemisphere, so will probably have a quieter one than the ones I have been used to. Luckily with the use of the Internet though I will be able to talk to my son & daughter on Christmas Day.
