    Default Back to normal

I love Christmas, but these long protracted holidays tend to through me off my routine, I am very happy they are over and looking forward to things getting back to normal.

*****, I agree - it seems like I was back-pedaling every day this past month to stay even.

But I like the sales that came with Christmas on my stores :)

    Now - normal?

Normal for me is fairly abnormal!

I've only set an alarm clock about a dozen times in the past year. I get up when I want, sleep when I want - normally eat when I want. When, like now, I'm out of my rv and staying in a friends, I have a few more "normal" things - like we have dinner about the same time every day (just realize it might be breakfast for me some days - dinner others :) )

I put in as many hours working but on my terms and when I want to (usually at night while the rest of the world sleeps).

    Normal is of course relative..
The hustle and bustle of the holiday season wasn't so frenetic this year, but I think there is something to be said for routine, whatever that looks like for a person.
My mom has some memory issues, and routine goes a long way to keeping her present and sailing smoothly..
Beth your 'routine' sounds nice. I worked at home for a number of years and love the flexibility it affords.

Normal is good, so I hear. I don't remember what a normal day should be like. The Holidays just remind me of home (USA) and all the loose ends that have to be taken care of before I can go back. That I guess would be normal to me......
