    Default Java and search engines

I heard that java (or javascript?) can interfere with the work of search engines. Something to the effect that the java makes it hard for the engines to search the pages. Is this a fact? If so, how is it overcome?

    My site is www.christianissues.biz

    Thanks
    Mick

Javascript is not read by se's at this time. It is seen as an image which are also not read.

If you feel you have to use it for things - like navigation - then you need to also have another method for those same things to be read. For navigation you can add text links to the bottom of the page and you can do a site map.

In the case of your site, what the se's will not be able to read is any of the links in your dropdown menu. If you don't have another method of linking to those pages, they will not be found by se's unless someone links to the individual pages from another site.
