I know nothing at all about building a website.--or forums
As an old lady of 77 is there any chance of my mastering this skill?

Id say there is a great chance. You mastered signing on here and creating an account, and posting. Creating a website is much the same, just alot more sidesteps.

Have no fear - i'm pushing 70 and didn't even surf the web when I joined this site. Now I have 2 web sites and want to start a third - it is addictive!!!!! It's a lot of fun and there is so much help available - jump in and get started
