Default The Pilot was Blind ...so the passengers thought....

This was a e-mail sent to me....I thought it was so funny at first to share it with you guys.......
But then thinking about, I think I would feel the same as the passengers if I was caught in the same situation.....

    What would you guys do????????
    *************************

    This is a true story.....

On a plane flying from Auckland to Christchurch, the plane unexpectedly

stopped in Wellington. The flight attendant explained that there would

be a delay, and if the passengers wanted to get off the aircraft, the

plane would re-board in 50 minutes. Everybody got off the plane except

one gentleman who was blind. My friend had noticed him as he walked by

and could tell the man was blind because his guide dog lay quietly

underneath the seats in front of him throughout the entire flight. He

could also tell he had flown on this very flight before because the

pilot approached him, and calling him by name said, "Keith, we're in

Wellington for almost an hour. Would you like to get off and stretch

    your legs?

The blind man replied, "No thanks, but maybe my dog would like to

    stretch his legs."

Picture this: All the people in the gate area came to a complete stand

still when they looked up and saw the pilot walk off the plane with a

guide dog! The pilot was even wearing sunglasses. People scattered. They

not only tried to change planes, but they were trying to change

    airlines!

    This is a true story....

Have a great day, and remember ---

I guess it was a little of not knowing wha tthe situation was and not having much faith in the airline ... understandably so I guess ... I am sure I might inquire with someone about the situation ...

Rather like arriving late at a costume party: not knowing who is who, how can you tell friend from stranger?
Why, then, do we avoid learning what goodness is bundled inside those whom we've not yet become familiar?

Hmmm......something to think about next time you light up a cigar or sit in the hot tub getting wrinkly......

I would be waiting for the hidden camera bloke to jump out, I don't think I would take it seriously.
