Well if she want's to get funny about it i'm sure a small extension cable would allow for the tv to be moved into the toilet so that he can close the door in future. lol

that's a solution...what guys wouldn't do to watch the game huh? Well, from the perspective of a female who happens to love soccer, I think I'll record the game before going to such lengths...but then again, when you gotta go...lol!

Or just invest in a hand held TV for these times of desperation. Never miss a game ever again, whether going to the toilet, walking the dog or any other interruption. lol

I know, but recording it will still allow me to watch. And now, especially with the World Cup, which is about the only league that I follow (just started getting into the Spanish league), they show reruns...I know, it's not such fun the 2nd time around, but I don't mind it.

The problem with recording it is that usually someone tells you the scores before you've watched it or the dog brings the paper to you in the morning with the scores on it. Argh!!!!! lol

Fortunately it's only during basketball season. Though my youngest is like that guy, with soccer.

i like basketball, but was not really that good at it. I played my sophomore year in HS but left it the next year for soccer. I only tried it out because everybody expected me to play soccer...it's a family thing.

Needless to say, I started soccer the next year (only fight the fights you can win lol) and got a scholarship to play after HS.

What position does your child play?

He played midfielder, and forward, in his first couple of years in colloge, now he plays on a select team at the university he is going to. They have allways like him for the corner kicks though, because he is 6'4" tall.

Yes, but he had to choose in Jr. High between the two, and soccer won out. He has enjoyed it though, he got to go to Wales the the Ian Rush Tournament, when he was 14. That was quite the high point.
