All these women are falling at my feet for my love

Last week I received yet another email from a total stranger telling me of her total love for me. Yes you know the ones a total con, send me some money and I will come and live happily ever after.

Well I decided to reply to one and see what happened....Play them at their own game and waste their time.

First came her email telling of her love for me, so I replied stating that she could just be my soulmate...I then received a link to a site with her pic on...obvously it was not her...So I said how lovely she was blah de blah....

Then after a couple more emails came the crunch email saying she was waiting for some money to come through and needed money transferring to meet her sweetheart etc...(She stated she lived in Russia) Probably Nigeria.

So I told her I was the poorest man in England, lived in a tent and only owned a potato....not heard from her since.

These people really get on my nerves and if people did not fall for their cons, then they would not carry on emailing people....Oh well I am sure she has moved on to someone else.

For all she knows you could have planted that potatoe in a field and started running a business selling potatoes in the future. lol I get loads of these mainly the money laundering sort etc etc.

Not to add "sour creme" to your possible on-line romance, or potatoes Paul, lol ....

But you responded, against your own advice ... lol

It's always best not to respond, you never know what game they are playing ... don't give your ip address to any of those "nuts" ... your ip shows in all your emails back and forth, they can track you from there, and come pretty close. They have so many ways of finding out information about you, and not only that, "Identity Theft" is very high, alot of what this is about ... if I sound paranoid, I likely am ... but you'd be always better off just deleting, not confirming your email address as you did ... you will avoid much spam this way too ... they may also be collecting "email addys" to add to their list that they sell, to who knows who ...

One other thing, if you need reassurance of how much you are loved, jump on here, we'll dish it out free and won't spam you ... and you will enjoy it better too!!

Thanks Holly for the advice, I understand all i.p address issues etc. But I also understand how these people work, I for all she/he knows could have been answering in good faith.

Also the address I answered from is not my main address, the one I answered from get spammed to death anyway, so that's not a problem. No they are just conning idiots who will move on from me, they have far too much conning to do than bother with revenge on my potato email.....Maybe I was just a bit bored last week lol....I promise to throw the next 1,000,000 I receive away.

We have to make sure anyone else stumbling across this post doesn't think we think it is a good idea to challenge, you know, lol ... some people may give away more than they know ...
