Thread: Heya everyone! Wondering about your sites made using VH

Heya Everyone,

I have been thinking about using blue voda for along time to build a site. Then I went back to the idea of paying somebody to do it but then decided that I can do it myself, and save some money on marketing the site instead!

I was wondering about the sites that everyone has created. Is there a list of categories, followed by the sites created by Vodahost clients?

If no, this would be very cool and would definitely help new comers and potential clients to view some creative work created by existing clients!!

Hi, you will have fun creating a sit with BV, plus the pleasure of the cash saving.
On the showcase for sites, I tried this wile back, but started to get to involved & too complicated & would never be able to please everyone. So I dropped out.
I will start an independent showcase from a site I am working on. But this wont is for a few months yet. This will be for BV sites that are voted in by others & will have to have a score of a certain number of votes to even be listed as part of the show case.
It also will be broken down into 4-5 categories. IE: style/site optimisation/SE optimisation/ease of use & lay out/ & so on.
But this will all be at later date.
But at the moment Lady Eye is putting in some great efforts to getting the original post of the ground at the tread below.

Awesome, Inspiring Sites, Congradulations to all those who made the list. Unfortunately mine was not one of them, guess it's because its still too new and got to get the bugs out but hope to be displayed in the future. Great job y'all, makes me proud to be a Vodian

There is no list to make, just let David know you want to be listed. I got on , so surely there should be no trouble...I think there is a place on the site to submit your work, take another look.

Blue Voda is most definitely the way to go when you want to build a website that reflects your vision and desires.

You will find the freedom (and satisfaction) of being able to produce wonderful results yourself, and not remain beholden to so-called professionals that merely take your money for the opportunity to interpret your ideas!

** A word of caution, however: Web-building can be rather addictive!
(Like most of us here, I am currently "evolving" along with a website created originally with Blue Voda, as you can see: Original BV Site and the Demo of Hybrid which will be Flash)

The more you learn here in VodaTalk and the grander your vision becomes, certainly the most wonderful benefit is not only the knowledge that you can actually do things yourself, but you will find that confidence spilling over to many other areas of your life as well.

So maybe web-building isn't as addictive as progress and giving unto others??? It's all good!

You can also look at the sigs in people's posts for some help and ideas. You will be surprised how much you can do with blue voda, I know I was. But building your own site is certainly the way to go, there is so much help around here that you will always find the help you need.
