Thread: UK Clocks go back 1 hour tonight. Anyone else?

Arh! Uk Summers finished. Not sure we had one in the UK this year.lol
Any one else round the world have there clocks change at this time of year????

The good old USA changed it this year, we have another week left, I think it was a total of 4 extra weeks this year.

Yes, in November and we Canadians are right with you .. sometime in November.

I sure wish they'd quit fooling with it and keep it the same year round!

Arizona and Hawaii don't change; smart states, those.

Ours changes Nov 4th this year, I think

Totally agree from my side of the fence. But the poor old government in the uk found we lost to many working hours for workers like farmers & similar other trades.

Canada has to follow the US.. again..

Hi, this may sound a daft question, but if the US changes their clocks. Do all the states change there clocks? As i be leave you have 4 or more time zones.
I also assume that if this is so? this helps people in the north & is a real pain for those in the south. Or have i got this wrong.

We still have the multi time zones, and each one does the daylight saving time adjustments except for Hawaii and Arizona,(generally, some exceptions) who have opted to not play along, as they have decided they have enough daylight with out having to add any artificially.
I suspect most of us would be fine with keeping the extra hour of light all year long, but we don't really have the option without a bunch of legislation, etc.
Personally I like the extra hour of light.

It started during the WAR, and the farmers liked it so it continues. Farmers should just quit using clocks and go to bed when it gets dark and get up with the sunrise!
