Hard to believe there are people so willing to do harm to and take money from unsuspecting folks with absolutely no remorse. Not that I'm naive but just find it hard to understand where this comes from.

WOW ! How blatant is that. Some people are just scum.My daughter buys on ebay but always checks the history of the seller and the comments from other buyers,so far not been scammed .THERE OUT THERE NO MATTER WHERE YOU ARE

I love Judge Judy ... wish a few more judges had her insight and courage ... the blonde smiled all the way through it, what a !!! ... I have never bought off ebay and probably never will now ...

They will get the money, its paid by the studio or whatever subsidiary is in charge of the show, not the defendant.

Judge Judy is fantastic! As for ebay, this is a warning to us all. Even as a seller you have to make sure your description is spot on because there are buyers out there out who look for inaccuracies to get something for nothing.

As for the $5000 fine, not enough in my book. She is nothing but a modern day thief and should be locked up.

I am disappointed that the scum defendent doesn't have to pay the $5,000. She should do jail time.

What a scum!! "Psychopath" is right.

I've only been scammed once on Ebay and when I left neg feedback this very mean man called me at my house to tell me to retract it. Did you know they could do that?? They have access to all of your personal information, address phone number etc. I was scared and glad I lived so far away. If I would have lived in the same state, I would have been watching my back because he was ANGRY.

All that I can say is BUYER BEWARE a bkg thumps up for judge judy. Peolple ou there will scam you for anything.

Sounds like the photos were not that good, I mean sure they cant recieve calls but they can still look at the new phones !!!!

At least her hubby was smart enough to stay home and not try and use wordplay on Judge Judy
