Well you got in the middle as much as you could, that's the hot seat for sure!! LOL

Hmmm, why ... .. well just changed the circle of friends mainly I suppose, and got away from it .. hmmm .. may have had something to do with turning into a hockey mom too .. you know .. responsibilities I guess .. funny tho, I was speaking with someone else, just today, and they said "come on" get back into it .. ahhhh .. that would take some doing I think .. Was very much all pleasure diving, 40' max for myself and that was around a wreck here on our coast, near Peggy's Cove actually, you may be aware of that area of Nova Scotia .. other than that I/We brough up plenty scallops during our time .. would be no problem for 2 or 3 of us to hit the waters and bring up 30 - 40 lbs or so in less than an hour .. shuck (sp?) them right on shore too .. Many a fine fresh scallops baked on their original shell, in white wine, lemon, worcestershire sauce and ***** cheese over top .. broiled for about 10 minutes and eaten right on the shell .. although I've seen many eat them raw right out of the shell too .. although, I never would .. yeesh .. (not fond of suishi either, lol) Other than that, there would be scavengener hunts put on by various clubs in the area .. but they all sort of just faded away you know .. But there is one thing for sure that I can say about scuba diving, and that is you have never felt better than the first few hours after coming out of the water .. it's an awesome feeling, one which I am sure you can relate to .. right??!!

I started diving in Seattle, and we use to catch fish, squid, and other marketable items to sell at the public market to pay for our air, and equipment. Now my favorite place is Cozumel. I'd like to dive on the east coast though, ther are alot of wrecks all along the coast.

Ah cool Saman, the waters that you have graced diving have been far more interesting and colorful too and imagine, you even collected things and paid for things, kewlll ... does remind me of the flatfish spearing though and the little tiny one that I caught in my pouch on a scavenger hunt, it was too cute, lol and the wolf eel staring you in the eyes and look out because they bite, lol .. and yes, those rocks that looked like whales, lol .. but all cool yes ..
