Thread: Where does one get a login (membership) script?

There are gazillions of web sites that have dialog boxes for "Login" and "Password" ... and "Registration" to encourage new members.

My question is: where can I acquire a simple login/membership dialog to add to my web site? The templates I have found all refer back to some site-based script ... and that would have my registrants joining the template builder's site!

(The "Preview Post" does not show whether my avatar, signature, etc. will actually show, so best to give at least my main message-based Forum as a reference.)

The link took me to a thread, but without any login, etc. script being displayed or downloadable anywhere. Perhaps your intent was for me to create a 'buddy' link to get such a script in that manner. (?)
