Exclamation Look at what Huricane Ike did

Look at what Huricane Ike did to our ball dianonds. Even though we are near Chicago we couldn't escape the rain stired up by Ike. With many of the cities north of us receiving up to 11 inches of rain, and getting over 7 ourselves the water flowing down the Fox river is running rampid in our town, turning our ball diamonds into lakes. Our west diamond is under 4 feet of water, we have over 3 feet in our concession stand, bathrooms and one of our storage sheds. Click on the link to my site to see the damage for yourself. The images are in a light box so you can go through all of them.

    Default lego

I just wanted to say that today our packaged arived from China with the most wonderful set of building toys. My son loves them. It is a pirate building block set, a very large boat. My son says it is called the black pearl from the pirate movie. The parts in the set fit together with his lego brand bricks but this set we bought is not lego brand. What is the difference? Here is the address to the bulding toys http://www.liangdianup.com/buildingblocks_1.htm and the company's main website page is www.lducompany.com
There is no place to post a review on thier website but if there was I would surely give these guys a 5 star :)

Sorry to see your fields got flooded......
We are in Dallas,,,,the northside, and our fields didn't get too bad. They got rained on, on Sat. but they dried for games on Sunday..
Good luck for when the water goes down.............\

When I looked at your pics in FF the Nav buttons stayed on the pics.....just thought I would let you know that..

    Thanks all,
the water is starting to go down, now comes the fun part.....cleaning up the mess. Mike I see that in FF, tried several different things as far as layer depth but in order for the buttons to work I need the buttons on top. This is the only page I use the light box like this and the page will change again so I'm not too worried about it. Maybe I will work on it some more later. Thanks

I think it's amazing that I live about 2 hours NNW of Houston and we didn't get any rain. nor strong winds.. I don't know how you can be 130 miles from the eye of a 600 mile wide hurricane and not get rain and winds.
Good luck to you on the cleanup.

Storms have a way of doing that, by leaving the back side of the eye dry, ans the front side or right side that is sucking all the water out of the gulf and dropping it on that side of the storm..
