If you had purchased £1,000 of Northern Rock Bank shares one year ago, they would now be worth £4.95.
If instead you had purchased HBOS shares, last week your £1,000 would have been worth £16.50.
If you'd invested in XL Leisure your £1,000 would now be worth £0.
However if you'd bought £1,000 worth of Stella Artois one year ago, drank it all, then took the empty cans to an aluminum re-cycling plant, you would currently get £214.

Based on the above statistics the best investment advice I can give you is to drink heavily and re-cycle.

Hey Chris, not only is it a good investment (better than 20% return AFTER drinking) but I was introduced to Stella Artois when in the UK and I can testify as to its worthiness...
