Does anybody remember the 1978 movie Capricorn One?

Nice one General.... I always doubted and wondered if they ever really go to the moon, now you post this and make a lot more people wonder.

If they ever went there all those years ago with such primitive technology then why haven't they gone back lately with the much more advanced technology of today?......

Yes...very strange...

I thought about this after viewing, and my husband (who has seen many strange sights while in service, in and near Arizona and Nevada in the 70s, as jet engine mechanic) said...

that we should never underestimate the power of cinematography,

and that the samples NASA brought back from the moon, and subsequent unmanned flights back to the moon*, showed that the moon was lacking in the minerals, in which our privately owned (US) mining companies are interested, that are apparently in abundance on Mars.

And he also reminded me to never underestimate the power of propaganda...to always consider the source of the cinematography...

BUT I still get that tingly feeling on the back of my neck........and have yet to be mislead (after 30 years) by my tingly feelings........

Doubt......now, that's an emotion to contend with.......LOL

*not all moon trips, manned or unmanned, were by NASA

Yes. I remember this. It had an impact at the time. But, soon forgotten.
