Thread: today is a special day!!

Hi everyone,
I don't contribute much to this forum I'm afraid......too busy with building my site LOL. But I wanted to draw everyone's attention to something rather nice taking place across our planet today. At 8.30pm local time nearly 1000 cities around the world will shut off ALL their lights for 1 hour. So, please, if you can, join us? From Tonga to Tennessee lights will go out & we will save just a little bit of energy. The organisers are from Australia & you can find more about it from www.earthhour.org/home - maybe our Mother Earth will hear this tiny "thank you" for the support she gives us all :)

Will be interesting to see what happens with the circuit breakers when everyone switches back ON in one hit? lol.

Yeah, right...but maybe not EVERYONE will hit their switches at the same time.....maybe some have found something to do for that hour that takes them a little longer to get "back into the light" LOL

Yah, sorry for the delay. I didn't turn my lights out but somebody did. Anyway that makes me an unconscious accomplice to the world protest. Thanks for making us aware, david.

Now i know why I could not see someone turned the lights off last night.
