Default A Rose by any other name....

My husband had a riding accident today - he came off 'cos the horse had got herself worked up and frightened, and she stamped all over him in her panic to get away.

Luckily he only has a sprained ankle and a haematoma on his lower stomach, but is very sore as more horse **** shaped bruises have started appearing.

Anyway, we spent half the day in casualty - and (especially you menfolk) will realise how lucky he was when I tell you that one hoof came down extremely close to some rather important parts!

The doctor sent him away with some rather odd advice to watch for things getting worse - particularly if his potatoes swell!

    New medical term?

Just wondered what strange medical advice other's had received?

    Hi Trish,
I´m back again after a long absence.
Was the Doctor Irish? All we ever think about is potatoes! Did you ask him what to do if they do start to swell? If he said smoother them in butter, you can be sure he is Irish!
I hope your hubby is feeling better soon.
