You bullied me into it - lol. Unbelievably enough - it came back with a few but first two were Bridget Fonda (Wow!) and Jim Morrison (?!?).

Do you guys (US) have a holiday at Easter? Good Friday through to Easter Monday are all holidays over here. 95% of people 'go away' which, in actual fact, means they go nowhere because all they succeed in doing is blocking the damn motorways for the entire long weekend.

Yes there is an Easter Holiday...personally my family is more spiritual and we ... well kinda use the day just for good food and family and friendship...not to the real truth of the meaning of the holiday...I will be putting all this computer behind me for a few days and traveling down to Middlebury to see family and friends...so what your country brings to you! Actually I have some radio in the background, a TV with cable news to the left, the computer to the right and I'm practicing my putting along the back wall. Do not!! give advice on how I could also be sweeping the floor.

From IN to NC. I took a job with a company I worked for in Virginia. The appeal isn't the job - it's the area of the country, which is very beautiful AND, I'll be living just ten minutes from a NASCAR track. The Concord, NC area is the heart of NASCAR.

You're getting closer. Williamsburg VA here and always spend some November time in the NC hills. Spent 8 years in Michigan on the IN border: The great midwest is the high price we pay for having two marvelous coasts. Good luck in the new job.

I lived in the northern part of VA from 2003 to 2005. Nice area, but very expensive. Thanks for the well wishes.

I guess that would be like home improvement type stuff? Describe the beautiful countryside in 12 words. Is it hills, like D says, mountainous, lakes, very green? You are so lucky having a whole continent of beautiful landscape ranging from glaciers, through desert to tropical beaches. Wow! The nearest I've been is Cuba which although is not that far away may as well be a million miles.

I'll be in a classic country setting - woods and lakes and so on. Just a two hour drive to the Atlantic ocean and an even shorter one to the mountains. North Carolina is one of the most beautiful states we have.

I've got state envy. Lol. It sounds perfect. I hope you'll be blissfully happy there and have really good staff at your new store. Sort of caught between heaven and heaven really, countryside, NASCAR... Lol.

You're exactly right on that. For someone like me who is such a huge fan of the sport, living in that area is a dream come true. There is a slight possibility I might wind up working with a large NASCAR related website, but that's very up in the air right now.

And what have we learned on this thread so far? We've learned that ***** by some accounts looks like Danny Devito and he's not too thrilled about that, you and Kate are evidently illegitimate children of Jim Morrison and I resemble an effeminate, black track star.

Virginia isnt too far from Vermont!...youll be rubbin elbows with us country kins! My only advice is to stay out of the mine in Virginia...they dont seem too safe...
