Ode to the spellchecker Eye halve a spelling checker It came with my pea sea It plainly marks four my revue Miss steaks eye kin knot sea. Eye strike a key and type a word and weight four it two say Weather eye am wrong oar write It shows me strait a weigh. As soon as a mist ache is maid It nose bee fore two long And eye can put the error rite Its rare lea ever wrong. Eye have run this poem threw it I am shore your pleased two no Its letter perfect awl the weigh My checker tolled me sew.          |

knot two tuff too read when spell checker is hear!....lol My spell checker Ive had to add certain personal quirks of my own..like: HAHAHAHA... MMMMMMMMMMM... LUV U......... puter........ CYA........ and as such...it will learn too!...Just have to remember to keep the spell check off and do it manually!... Have a great weekend...bee back in too daze!....lol |

My best mistake ever was when I was a junior local government officer and wrote my first report that went to the elected members and the Chief Exec - I said something was available for PUBLIC inspection - well, at least that was what I meant. Unfortunately I left the L out, and spell checker was no help at all! Boy was my face red when it was pointed out to me - after the report was printed and circulated to all!!!! Happy Easter everyone!

Ok ladies - my worst one was a handwritten one - which makes it even worse! I was working at a local civic flower show as the calligrapher writing out the certificates for winners etc. Anyway one chap was called Mr K Y Smith. And as the Brits out there may realise 'KY (jelly)' is a popular and widely available proprietry brand of, erm, personal lubricant. We were all having a giggle - as you would. Later, when we were flicking through the certificates that hadn't been collected, I was mortified to find the one addressed to Mr K Y Jelly!
