Thread: Group poem -

I had a thought and wonder if It could work. Im wondering since there are so many talented people here - if we all could write a poem. Ill start and others can then add on line by line and see what we get...lol, if nobody adds on a line well, guess Ill have my answer!
One line apeice, you can add another line, but you cant add two at the same time, you have to wait for someone to respond first.

A memory, a face, a picture, a name?

What he called love, she called a game,

And then she left to catch the train,

becuase she thought it was going to rain.

The rain it came and from afar,

Her shining knight drove up in a car

He said to her you ARE MY STAR,

She said, dear sir, you're having a larf!

with a turn she smiled at him,

and began to barf.

But the shining knight was a gallant chap

And so wiped her gown with his flat cap.

And remarked by eck lass its all down your lap!

Can I mop it with me bread bap!

Oh no you dirty sap

lol, wow whata lotta ****

****? said she! this is poetry

oh dear, pardon me ignorance of geometry

And with that she turned to walk away

Tripped over, looked to her left and heard a talking dog say...

As our krypton fearing hero screeched to a halt

he said, "Wait..you don't need a train" I can...

use my super vault!

I can whisk you away, fly you around the world

So a pub crawl they did!

So off they went to The Dog and Duck, the usual crowd were there....

Oh goodness! Look at me, I must do something with my hair.

And off to the bar went Mr Kent.

He said to the barman I can't afford much, Ive just been and paid all the rent.

so happy hour prices for me til im spent!

meanwhile in the loo our heroine.....

He made it from a dog n duck cask

Sir, why do you hide, if I may ask, behing that dark and scary mask?

Hush now! and fill my flask for later i'll need an oxygen mask

then a hush fell upon the dimly lit room

and suddenly the crowd goes BOOM!

In the corner of the dusty room

Sat Clark Kent & Spidy watching cartoons....

go and use the spitoons

Amazingly flowers start to bloom

The moral thus is give and take, beware of superman,
