    Smile A little more help please with os commerce

    I installed oscommerce, I think I did it right, I use the link that says my site name slash admin, when I click on it, it takes me to my website not the admin area. Please help, what am I doing wrong?

    You should have received an email when you signed up with the exact link to your admin site. If this did not happen, try going to the shopping cart at your website and adding a /admin to get in.

    I used the link and I still get my website coming up, if you would like to try and see what it does the site address is: www.1895jewelry.com/admin/

    Where it said directory and it was blank I put in 1895 jewelry, then installed os commerce and tried the link and my site still comes up and I can't get to the admin . Now what?

    Hi the problem is that you put a space between the 1895 and jewelry, you cannot do this. You will need to reinstall osCommerce. Have you considered using paypal shopping cart instead, it is very user friendly.
