Thread: Whats been happening

Hello All,

Back from my hols (ok we got rained off 4 days ago, but I purposely kept of web building larks to continue the holiday at home (apart from helping bee!)). So whats been happening? Has Amanda taken over Blue voda and even now planning to take over google? Or has it been a bit more mundane than that?

Hmmm blue voda 8, I'll have to get on to that.
My bow didn't get wet something far worse happend to one whilst I was away.....woodworm.....stop laughing it's not funny.
It was all a bit carry on camping, I half expected sid james to turn up! It rained almost constantly, but I gave up when it started hailing!
I shall have to browse the forums then but not tea, ale!

Woodworm eh? How unfortunate..... you can fix it though, yes?

You cannot wait for BV 8, believe me. It is so cool and has so many really top new features. Pablo has outdone himself this time.

Okay... back to the grind.... I think this place is more in danger of being taken over by Allstar, personally.......

Hi Cindy,
They used to start the young lads at that age in the Middle ages so he's of to a good start.
Woodworm is caused by the larvae of bettles burrowing into wood, where they then grow and then force themselves out. They cause small little holes on the way in and bigger ones on the way out.
I hope it is fixable Amanda, I'm trying to kill the buugers (4 holes) with parafin and then fill the holes. I'm just glad it's not my newest bow, £550 worth!
(Your right I think Allstar is after your kingdom Amanda, 'Infamy, Infamy they've all got it in for me!!')

Always learning .... woodworm is a tiny beetle that likes to eat wood. Especially old wood. Very fond of old furniture and cricket bats, I believe, oh and old english warbows. Here are some pics:

Oh my, so those things actually eat at your warbows? I could understand a house, kind of like termites. Sorry to hear of your worms. I hope they didn't do to much damage. I'm showing my son your site now! Great stuff.

Hopefully it'll be alright, I'll only know for sure when I shoot it and it doesn't explode on me! And believe me that can hurt. I hope you lad ejoys the site, my six year old comes shooting with me sometimes and copletley carried away with himself!
