PRE-SCHOOL TEST


Pre-school children were asked the following question:


"In which direction is the bus pictured below traveling?"



Look carefully at the picture.


Do you know the answer?


The only possible answers are "left" or "right."


Think about it. Still don't know?


Okay, I'll tell you.


The pre-schoolers all answered "left."


When asked,


"Why do you think the bus is traveling in the left direction?"


They answered:


"Because you can't see the door."


Feel pretty silly now, don't you? I know, me, too.


*DUUHH!!!*

Three men walk into a hotel wanting to stay the night (One room each! Strctly hetro). They go to the counter and see the receptionist who says 3 rooms £30, £10 each...

They all pay and make their way to the lift.

The receptionist realises that their is a special promotion on and three rooms get a discount of £5.

She quickly runs to the lift and catches the three men. Gives each a £1 Coin and secretly pockets the last £2.

All this considering - with the £1 refund each man has paid £9

3 x 9 = 27 plus the 2 in the receptionists pocket = 29.....

Where is the last £1?

Can you re write that in $$?

Once again I'm left with 'duhh' feeling and that somehow kids these days are just smarter than us. I know my niece is and I have a constant 'duh' moment when I'm around her. Oh..well sometimes ignorance is bliss and being blissyfully happy is my goal....Thanks Kassi for the 'duh' moment....as if I don't have enough of them while building my site...lol.

Thats a good thing darlin' as it was the thing about the pounds...thats why I didnt touch it...lol...I would at least need the edge of using the dollar value...and then wouldnt promise anything!

There is no missing pound or dollar or whatever. They paid 30, but it should have been 25. She gave them three back, add that to the 25 plus the two she kept (she should be fired, lol) and you're back to the original 30.
