OOPPPS Sorry i thought you said species. my Apologises.
Good idea though.
Sounds interesting, hot peppers included?
Yup. I'm personally waiting to see if JaneBond (Terri) offers up some Arizona-grown peppers.....she's probably still busy dealing with the huge wildfire going on......

My favorite spices are ginger, cinnamon, clove, I love to make a fresh ginger tea. Just slice off a piece or three of ginger root and steep it in hot water, I also put in some honey...mmmmmmm
I love chai tea...
A nice hot coffee with a dash of cinnamon on top is wonderful!
And Im sure this will open a mouth or two - I chew whole cloves like gum...lol....yums.....
Glad you all like it, yes Vasili you did kind of give me the idea. I have to figure out how to do it.
Sharon Chajin
Cloves??? Yuck! I hate those things - well, I like the flavour, but if I ever bite down hard on one....!! Kate, you must have very odd taste buds!Originally Posted by kassi59

yes I do have very strange tastes....but thats a good thing as when my taste buds go to what most concider "normal"...Im pregnant...lol...so bring on the pickles and ice cream! thats safe for me!...
Jalapeños ! and of course Chipotle - a little spice is good.
Kate if you like chai...next time add about 2-3 whole cloves, 2-3 pods of cardamon, and a small pinch of black pepper..this isa spicy sweet tea that is popular in south india....some add a lot of other sweet spices also. You can also buy a nice 'tea' masala at inidan stores and add it to your tea for a wonderfully tasty tea.

Thank you *****, this looks great and we can have a lot of fun. I think that is what my site is about...a fun feeling and not like the other ones.
Thank you again

Free advertising, thank you Bee. You'll find both teas at http://www.blueearthtea.com/flavored.htmlOriginally Posted by beegud2
Bill...how absolutely delightful...what a nice selection you have. I had not gotten a chance to get back to your sight and see all the variety you offer.
As an Indian it is so not done to buy 'tea' masala...you must make your own as with all masalas...but I don't think anyone really cares anymore and so it is nice to see it already for brewing.
Thanks
P.S.
I would like put you as a link on my recipe page ...would that be alright and do you have a logo link I can use? I plan on putting a few tea recipes and I'll just make it easy for the visitors to get it direct from a source like yours.

and I have soem friends who'll be doing a shop online for stuff from Jamaica...I'm going to recommend they carry your stuff.
Also consider some of our popular herbal teas in Jamaica...Ginger, Cerasse, Hibiscus and a few others..they are pld teas considered 'bush teas' used by locals to treat all sort of ailments...now popularized and sold by big companies here...you may find a a good company that will special blend for you..if you like I'll try and see what I can find out..may take a bit of time....it'll e interesting now that I think about it.

I love wild weather...howling winds...rain pouring down...I used to live by the sea and watch the waves pound away outside my windows and it is just so exhilarating....althoug the pitter patter of raindrops is just as calming...best time to read. You can realy loose your self in your books.
