I hate my laptop, having it only 2 days. I thought a 17" screen would be better for my eyestrain, but apparently all it is doing is distorting everthing from colors to resolution of Webpage views.....and I can't tweak to compensate. I am seeing shadows, fuzzy images, and colors so way off that the thought of using BV to do work on this seems impossible!
I know monitors differ, but compared to my Dell desktop and even my neighbors MAC, this is WAYYYYY off....

Maybe it's the MS Media OS (which I thought would be nice to have for all the web design elements), but I hate being stupid.

I hate this laptop.....now, anyways. $1700 out and **** to look at, I am extremely tired, and want to go home to hide in the closet for 3-4 days until everything goes away......

My first "non-Dell" item in over 5 years: HP Pavilion / Altec Lansing, 180gb Drive, 1gb RAM, MS Media 2006, 17" widescreen, and got the added Verizon Global Satellite Broadband card....I can be connected true broadband anywhere in the world (except possibly Tahiti).

REALLY not a happy camper......

I actually had it bought for me in Florida (the only way I could get the Verizon card) on an account (interest free and all, since I was planning on buying another 4) with the extended All-Inclusive Warranty.....since nowadays, I'll have to check it on the plane, right?

I gotta get down to Best Buy tonight and ask one of those kids from hell exactly how stupid I really am, and whether or not the display can be set right......if not, then I'll HAVE to ship it back to exchange for the 15" XP-Pro version, and if it doesn't have 1gb RAM, the difference in price might take care of the instant upgrade......such unecessary s***......and it always seems to come my way..... What's up with that????

It's always one of those things that you think, aha, this is gonna be great, and then there is something lurking to foul it all up, yeah a whole lot of BS to have to go through, although alot of trips to Florida sounds real nice to me ... lol ....
