Hi everyone! I'm hoping to be allowed online tonight after 8.30pm. Wow! After a big explosion at BT last week they were replacing bits of the line outside the house last weekend (did no good!) and did something really whizzy today. Well, they left a message on my answerphone which was so complicated that when I replayed it to the techies at work they couldn't understand a word of it.

Does this sound promising??? We did manage to make out they replaced a D-doupler or something, but as one helpful soul pointed out that's something used in plumbing!

What are the chances of it working do you think? After months of this I'm just waiting to see.

Mind you - if it works I'll have to find something else to complain about!

Thanks Vasili - I went into London as normal today and noticed nothing different. We just have to carry on. Affected my son though who begged me not to go to work!

How is your son dealing with the aftermath of the schoolmate who ended his own life? I can only imagine that ordeal, and the telly talking non-stop about the Anniversary, and all the other 'threats' in everyday life might put a damper somewhat on childhood innocence rather unfairly.....
