Yes, thank you! Make it a double!!! LOLOL

Oh, those were the days.....Ah, Billy! I don't drink anymore, but used to favor JD & Coke, and especially Expresso Martinis'......four or five and I was totally ready to streak through the lobby!
(What kind of freaking visual is THAT?? LOL)

Nowadays, it's iced tea or Expresso (a strong premium coffee will do me fine too, like Blue Mountain or Kona, both brewed strong).

    How boring is that???

You cannot beat a good pint of real English Ale. English ales have the most complecated flavours and they make you fall over! And they have mad names like,
    Sneck Lifter,
    Old perculier,
    Brewers Droop,
    Old knobbly
    Waggledance

1 pint glass-1/4 pint of southern comfort-lots of ice-1/3 of a chopped lime-topped of with lemonade. One lap top & 1 garden.
It’s a nice 75 degrees in London & we are making the most of it.

Hope some of you are doing the same.

    Chris.

PS. The pint of southern is not greed, it just saves going back inside so often. Well thats my excuse. Hic!

I have always understood it as a honeyed wine or beer. I was most familiar with the medieval version because I'm crazy about that period..castle etc.

I have an old medieval cook book ...somewhere...and it's has some recipes ofr mead...I thought it sounded great....

The site by collectors-info..is great..really gives nice explanation and sounds fun..makes me want to dust of the ole cook book and start distilling....sounds almost like moonshine if you ask me....hehe..lol

They weren’t silly back then. I think the main & best reason for mead made with honey & other similar things, is the amount of sugar that would be in most recipes, & we know what sugar turns into.
