Thread: Insert image based on template

I ve taken a free template and altered it because i want to use it for a site.

Problem is I only know how to make it fit the viewing window using the handles.

But how does one know that when the page is published it will be the right size.

If I want people to see my page normally , how do i tell yoda to make the page the right size whithout manually pulling handles and what not? Thanks.

I don't think thats possible. You will have to size it according to what you want. Push the preview button to help you with placement.

Use the guide borders in Guide Settings|Show Guide Borders.
And make sure everything stays between the borders.

The upcoming version 7.0 of BlueVoda will have rulers to make the job easier.

So where are these guides located? I cant find them for my life.

Also , why isnt the instant notification of reply working? I came back here to check and saw the replies otherwise i wouldnt know.And yes i did check instant notification.

In blue voda go to layout > guide settings then check show guide bars.

Thanks that really helped. One more question. If I usually have my resolution at 1024 by 768 and i make a page with guide bars set to those settings , will someone who has 800 by 600 resolution screen see my page properly?

It might look funny...Its aways best to design for the lowest possible denominator which is 600X800.
