Thread: Favorite thing to do when its hot...

Having moved from Michigan to Alabama 5 years ago, I have expanded my list of things to do when its hot.
My Fav today...Indoors on my computer with the air conditioning on. It is BUTT HOT!

Ultimate fav...I would like to be at the ocean... hmmm... a private beach, cold corona/lime, swim and then take a luscious nap with the sights and sounds around me and a gentle cool breeze. Ahhh...perfect.

Makes me want to jump in the car right now!

LOL...I have learned that if your feet or neck are cool then your body emperature will lower and keep cool for some reason...so the Ice pack goes on the back of my neck...usually I just dip a handkerchief in very cold waterand wrap place it on the back of my neck. Also hot tea cools you down faster than ice water...your body tries to equalize or something like that....heard it somewhere..it works.

I like to take cool bathes. peppermint works well to cool the skin..smells nice too...then afterwards I wont towel dry, I have a after bath dress that is like a tent type that I just drape on...very cooling..Of course there is Jobs Pond which is beautiful for swimming but the walk back just makes me sweat...lol

Well there goes me rying to fool all that I am a lady...sheesh the rules just get harder everyday...does that mean I have to stop spitting out the window too...?

Thank you David for correcting me, but << theres always one! That term was derived centuries ago while women were sitting up on their pedestal and yes, all they did do was to perspire, today myself after working hard to support two boys to adulthood and keeping my femininity in tact, I in fact sweat. Ive earned the term..lol
I personally would love to sit like a portrait and perspire, sounds like a day...lol

and beezz?....go right ahead and spit - just not when someones passing by...thats not lady like...lol..
