Why can't I find my own site in Google despite using all my megatags in the searcher and putting my site on vodahits?

How long ago did you submit your site to the search engines?

Firstly it can take awhile for your site to be properly indexed by the search engines and even then your site may not be on the first page of google. Your site gets ranked by google and to get high rankings your content needs to be updated constantly and needs to be relevent to your keywords.
