    Default Meta tag can you over use same words and not get in trouble??

    Meta tags question for all of you. Since I am a antique lighting dealer, can I use different variations of words in my meta tag section like: antique lighting, antique fixture, antique light, antique lamp, lamp repair, repair gas fixture, gas lighting, lighting fixture, ect, without a major problem. I would hate to get shut down because of a spam thing by using the word antique many times over in my meta tag section. It is a legitmate use of words as many folks who are searching for my services do not have an idea of what to call my line of work.

    Thank You and awaiting your words of wisdom.

    You don't need to do that in the meta tag keywords area - where you need to use the important words is on the various PAGES of the site. Do not put any words into the meta keywords that are not on THAT page of the site

    Beth, I will follow your words carefully and chose the right words for meta tags that are on my pages. Now how can I get in the top 10 when doing a "antique lighting" search on the web?

    Links? Advertise on other sites? Or something I have not thought of that is there for the asking and taking?

    Thank You

    Paul

    Hello Paul,

    In your Public_html folder you have index page click – edit and
    Paste this bold meta tag in place like this and save.

    <HEAD>
    <META http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1">
    <TITLE>index.bvp</TITLE>
    <META name="AUTHOR" content="Quality Lighting">

    Zlatko, I am still a little confused. I open up a page in bluevoda and right click off the page at the bottom. There pops up a "Page Properties" "Page HTML" box. I open up the "Page HTML" box. Do I paste the robot generatd meta tag that you sent on top of the already generated HTML text that is in that box? Is this correct or do I have it wrong? There is a lower section to that box. Do I place the code in there at "start of page"?

    I went through all the video tutorials to see this section and it was not there. Why? Or did I miss it some how.

    Thank You

    Paul

    Hello Paul,

    I suggest you deferent way log-into your c-panel click on your
    file manager folder than click Public_html folder. In this folder
    find your index.html file click and on right top corner find edit.
    Paste bold Meta Tag in the some place from this post and save.
