Thread: deleted page showing up in google

Hi all,

I hope this is the right forum for this thread. If not, let me know & I'll re-post.

Here's my problem: When I first published, I published my index page as home.html. (I knew better, from watching the tutorial, but did it anyway. Go figure.) Anyway, I deleted it through the File Manager. Now, when I type in "97031 notary," yeah, my site is right there on the first page, but, oh,no, it's the home.html, which of course leads nowhere, since I deleted it.

Is there anyway to fix this?

Well, I went in to google and typed in "97031 notary" and yes you came up. I clicked on your site name and was taken right to you webpage. So I think the spiders crawled your site again and maybe picked up the correct page now? Anyway, just wanted to let you know.

I just re-checked, and sure enough, it was changed. Thank you for responding!
