Hi,
Can I put a search box on my website, where I can search words on my and optional other web?

Yes, you have to install a script to do it. Or you can use a google search box, and.. I cant remember the one Beth uses, but it gives them the option to search your site or the web. If you look up posts by Bethers, and look at one of her sites, I believe you will find the one she uses. Of course both of these last two have advertisers on them. So.. back to the script if you cant live with it. Do a search there are several free ones, or maybe contact Naval to build you one.

Freefind does have a version without advertising - if you want to pay for it :) as do some of the others. Some are very easy to use - some require a little more work.
