Thread: Is this the reason I'm not on Google?

I have been up and running for a week or so now and when I type my site name into Firefox it comes up fine. But on Google or Yahoo! I get nothing, except the links to BV.
I see when reading threads on the subject that this is down to tags and page naming. I have changed these and hope I have done ok on this.
Could someone take a look, please?

Patsy, you may be having duplicate content probs with google as you seem to have other websites on the same subject.....just a thought.

I know David, I thought of that. The chap that we did the first site with, did it in html and sadly he has passed away. The second site, we can not get them to update. That is why we need a new one. Any idea how we can get the other two off the www?

Youd have to own the domain or the hosting.. and if you have access to neither you have to wait for them to die.

I own one of the domain names and have access to it. I think I'll get into it that way and see if I can cancel or re-point it.

Hi Patsy,

As you own 1 of those other domains, just create an addon domain at vh with the same name and then repoint/change the dns at the other hosting site to point to vodahost.........this will give you complete control of that site and then you could update/change it whenever you wished.
You could even redirect viewers from that to your new site or vici verca.....
