Thread: What is this all about? I need to know

Why is my Profile page with VodaHost listed under Google, yet I cannot find a listing for my site under Google. And isn't this a page that should be in my CPanel? Here is a copy of the page, it is listed under Web Hosting - View Profile pammy53

I am not really recieving an answer, would you please elaborate more for me, in reguards to my post?

The answer is that google and other SE,s search and store everything that has been published on a website unless they are told to ignore certain section/pages.......but even then they seem to ignore the ignore commands.

Google is constantly visiting vodahost and forums, but even I did not realize that personal profiles were lapped up and in the public domain.

Hope that answers your question.......

Thank you, so what do you think I can do about this, you think I should open a support ticket about this? This page makes me think that it is missing from my CPanel

Its not missing, just slurped up and copied by the googlebot.

The lesson to be learned(even by me) is that we should not put ANYTHING on the web if we dont want it picked up by the se bots.

Too Late, I have already submitted a support ticket, and I have not sent anything to publish other than my website.

Like I sayed, I do not come to the forums to chat, I come here to get information in reguards to help with my website. To my knowledge you do not pay to be able to come to this forum, it is established by either Vodahost or BllueVoda so that you can get a little help with your website. If i wanted to chat, I would go to the room that has been established for nothing more than just chat. So please, you get a grip on reality
