    Exclamation Site submissions problem

Hey my husband found a free submission site and submitted us to like 40 or 50 engines... he looked for our site on Google and it was there but the link they had was wrong... when they ask to put your site in are they looking for the site + the /index.html?

No.. you should just use the main url without the index.

Site submission services arent really recommended more than ONCE. Theres really no need to submit if you just get links back to your site.. or say use a link in your signature.

Googles link probably wasnt wrong... but what it wanted to link to or had indexed.

It means just what i said. Submitting your site more than ONCE is a waste of time. They wont index you any faster or visit more than they find reason too, no matter how many times you submit. In fact, google frowns on submit engines etc, it wastes their resources, when they have other places they havent been to yet to index. Google and the other major SE like links..and the more links they find the better they like it.

The best way to get your site found is by links...one way back links are the best. One of the easiest ways to do this is to put your link in your signature on this forum.

What site did the google link take you to? Show me? I have NO idea how to correct it because i have NO idea how it got there.

Yes to the first question, but anchor it in a main keyphrase for your business.

and no I doubt you upset Karen, it takes a lot to upset our Karen. She might MacSmack you, but she does that to all of us
Don't aim for success if you want it; just do what you love and believe in, and it will come naturally.
