Thread: Question about repeating metatags..???

Hi could someone tell me if it is a bad idea to keep on using 2 words along with other words on every page in your web site if the 2 words you are using as meatatags are in your title of your web site? such as fitness,nutrition,contacts next page-fitness, nutrition,recipes next page- fitness,nutrition,exercise.

Yes.. theres a problem with that. For one.. they have to be ON THE PAGE

For two each page should have its own content

For three they are too vague

For four you should be using PHRASES and not single KEYWORDS. You will be ten years ranking for single VAGUE keywords such as nutrition or fitness.

Read up on SEO in the search engine rooms or google it.

I am not MAD at you. Annoyed sometimes that you dont think about what you are asking or continue to ask when youve been answered numerous times.

If someone offers you advice.. you by all means do not have to take it..but generally speaking, the folks here that do give you advice KNOW what they are talking about and it is sound. Starting NUMEROUS threads to work your way around a subject when youve been told its NOT feasible isnt going to win you brownie points or newbie excuses.

I also run websites and build for others and volunteer my assistance here. My time is over extended many days.. .and i find it rather insulting and a nuisance when i have to merge threads, delete duplicate threads.. move threads to the proper forums for people that have already been adivsed and schooled in forum protocols..

So.. I dont waste my time getting mad... but often enough i will make sure you know youre overstepping and wasting my time.
