Thread: Free submission

Hi all,

I do know that I geta free submission with my account andI just wanted to check somethings,

1. Should I create a site map before that submission or not?

2. Although I signed up under one domain name I have now created a number of sites and actually wanted the submission to be used on one of the newer sites I have created. So can I choose which site get submitted or does it have to be the main site? does that makeany sense at all?

Usually SiteMap page is page with all links in and out your website. Usually the SiteMap link is placed into Index page. This mean if you submit your URL then Index page is crawled and it will follow all links from index page to other pages, including the sitemap page. Sitemap will have all the links, and might help that deeper level pages to be indexed too.

If you need this new site to be index or crawled, I suggest you submit its URL and not the main site. Make sure that its keywords match title, headings and content. This will give you higher ranks.
