Thread: Error trying to install PHPmotion...

Hi, I've been trying to install the PHPmotion script, but I keept getting the following error when trying to run the set up:

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@ratemedance.camthief.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I've been following the set up instructions religiously: http://wiki.phpmotion.com/doku.php?i...n_instructions , but no luck...

System requirements for PHPmotion are:

Servers - Linux/Unix server :
- PHP 4.3 and above (including support of CLI)
- MySQL database server
- LAME MP3 Encoder
- Libogg + Libvorbis
- Mencoder and also Mplayer
- FFMpeg-PHP
- GD Library 2 or higher
- CGI-BIN
- Be able to run background processes
PHP Settings
- open_basedir = (no value)
- upload_max_filesize = 100M
- post_max_size = 100M
- max_execution_time = 1500
- session.gc_maxlifetime = 14000
- safe_mode = off
- Thread saftery = disabled
- enable_dl = On

Can anyone help?

Did you create a data base, associate a user and password for that data base. Did you chmod the files accordingly to run setup?

Yea, I did... I emailed support about this and it appears that phpmotion cannot be run on bluevoda because Vodahost does not support FFMpeg, nor do they enable dl for safety reasons.
