Thread: Can I have 2 domains for the same site?

I've been working on my pages and I want to know if its possible to have a site with a main domain name and a different name forwarded to the same site? Also what'd be the fees associated with this?

If you have a web hosting account with Voda Host, you are entitled to host with them, as many domains as you like ... You will need to point your domain name to their servers and add any domains via add-on domain ...

There are tutorials about adding an add on domain to your vodahost account.

VodaHost also sell domain names if you do not already have them.

If you own the 2nd domain name - the only fee to have it pointed at the first domain name - is your annual renewal for the domain name - where ever you purchase it.

Already registered, by this you mean you have a web hosting account with Voda ... then you go to where your domain is now, and point your domain name to the two voda servers that were given to you in your welcoming email when you purchased your web hosting account with Voda.

Both Bethers and Ladyeye are correct in what they are saying. You can have as many domain names pointing to one site as you like. e.g. you could have mysite.com as the main page but then have mysite.net,mysite.co.uk etc all pointing to the same site.

As for wanting to move your current domain to Voda just repoint to vodas name servers as ladyeye says. If you would like further information on domain names take a look here
