Thread: Standard Pre-Sales questions...

I'm looking to transfer a domain from Yahoo Business, and VodaHost looks promising. I have a few questions, though.

One of the primary questions is about the ability to add forums to the site. I see that it's supposed to be done through Fantastico, according to a few answers I've found on the forums, but no other information is given. I've also searched the CPanel docs and the tutorial videos, but found no information. Is the ability to add forums included in the listed web site price, or is it an additional cost? And is it an administrator modifiable forum system (i.e. could I set it up to list threads ******logically according to post dates/times, can I add moderators to the forums, etc.?).

I guess the question would be - are all or any of the add-ons in CPanel and Fantastico included with the site or simply available for additional purchase?

Also, I assume it's not a problem to give customers the ability to download files directly from the site?

When you login to your Cpanel, you will see a big blue smiley face.
We call this "fantastico". Inside fantastico you will find close to two
dozen diffrent scripts including 2 forums, 3 shopping carts, 5 content
managment systems, blog, guest book, etc...

We just grouped them all together to make easier for you to navigate.
All scripts are preloaded and can easily be activated by you in seconds.

Thanks for the quick response, *****. I had noticed there were two different types of forums available from the posts I'd seen. The rest of the scripts look good also. You didn't mention it, but I'll assume that these scripts are indeed included in the subscription price. I like the promptness and honesty I've seen in your answers throughout the forums here, and the options available for the site are great. I'll be switching over to you in the next few days.
