Thread: Uploading Files

Hi everyone!

I've completed my website using the BlueVoda software....very nice by the way :) I can't wait to get my site online!

My question:
I am currently another web hosting. I have a domain name and an IP address already, do I really need to switch to VodaHost to host my webpage? I read all the tutorials and I'm pretty sure I need to do that. In case there is some other way, easier, I just thought I'd post my question. I was all ready to publish my new site and then I ran into that wall. Please let me the easiest and quickest way to get my site online.

BV can only be used on VodaHost. Great host, great program :)

I know, I know...it is great, has been so far. I was looking for an easier answer to what I came to the conclusion of by reading everything on the site. Oh well, time for switching hosts I suppose.

Thanks! I just put a call into siteserver...hopefully the process of transferring domain names will be painless :)

So far, the customer support has been unbelievable!

Ok, one more question...

How does the transferring process actually work? Do I have to sign-up with VH before siteserver will transer my domain?? Just curious if there is something I should be doing while I wait for siteserver to get back to me. They are defnitely not as customer friendly as VH is!

Sign up now, we are the one who have to put in the transfer request on your behalf.

I signed up and am printing the transfer info right now. Looks very EASY and painless. Thank you again for your help through this process...EXCELLENT customer service!!
