Do I need a merchants account if I am selling childrens gently used clothing? I am confussed in this area.

Hi Carrie. Yes. You have many different options here, depending on how you want to accept payments...checks, creditcards, both. Paypal is a pretty popular one as well as many others. Since you sell childrens clothing, do you already have a merchant account off line? There are many threads on the forum of discussions about this. This ONE is a good one. If you select the Search feature at the tool bar above and type in merchant account, it will bring up quite a few threads about this. If you don't find your answer there, or have more detailed questions, please post again and someone will be happy to tell you what they know.
