Thread: Plz help im new and I want to make a game

Hey all,

Im new to bluevode and I have a few questions.
I really wanne make a website, but a maffia game website, where u can steal cars and stuff. just like *********** its texed based.
My question is, is it
possibile to make one woth bluevoda?
And if the answer is yes how do I start?
Anyone have some tips for me?
Do I need knowlage about scripting or php?

And another problem is when u first play, u are 0% and then for example u steal a car then U go higher to 5% how duo you make that???

I checked out the game, duplicating it will require an extensive knowledge of PHP on your end, it is database driven.

But I just read that you dont need to know ( a lot) of php, If u use bluevoda.
But my english is bad, I didnt understand your answer.

What General ***** is meaning is that the game which you would like to install in your control panel, (that you receive access to when you register as a Voda Host client,) is what requires extensive knowledge of php ... the blue voda web builder does not require php knowledge, however, the game that you would like to install does ... two separate issues really ...

Creating your own game from scratch requires extensive knowledge of php and mysql (or any database). Besides that you really need to be focused on the task. I started to create my own web-base text game in php. I have the knowledge to create it, but I have spent over a year and im not close to done. (I have had other things to do though, school, work, etc). In fact I signed up for vodahost for the hosting for the game. (Hopfully I will get it done sometime)

Anyway, BlueVoda is meant for smaller static websites, not for dynamic, data driven websites like a game would be. You can download full website games from hotscripts.com that you just have to install, but I wouldn't think that too many people would play it since there are probably a couple dozen other sites running the exact same game.
