Oh h David just found it under new posts. I want to know what my options are for getting my voda web site up and running. This was all news to me until i went to publish

OK,
1)..you can open an account with vodahost and you will get a free domain name.
This means that you can publish all those pages that you have created in bluevoda.

2)..you could redirect all your traffic form your existing site to your new site at vodahost.

3).. you could also point your DNS to the vodahost servers without losing anything.

Now ask any direct question so that we can get you up and running.........

Muchos gracias. This is a brand new site and as of yet has not been published. I have reserved the domain name. Will this carry on if i use vodahost? Will i be bale to get an e-mail login set up on the site? Could i set up my e-mail addresses on my current provider allow them to place a login on the page and then have it hosted by vodahost? When you say the DNS. does tht mean i have to get the hosts to place an entry on their DNS lookup tables for vodahost or just make vodahost the primary DNS server? Sorry bout all this but through lack of my own research i have made this harder than it should have been

If it has not been published yet, how has it been created?

with bluevoda or some other wesite builder?

OK, so what you can do is to open an account with vodahost, select a free domain name and then you will be able to publish your bluevoda web pages within a couple of days(more or less)

After you open an account, you will receive a welcome email with all the details required to publish your pages.
You will be given a temp web address/url until your domain name has propogated thoughout the net.(normally takes from 24 to 48 hrs.

You can open as many email addresses as you wish.

You might want to check and see if you can cancell out of your other hosting party (dont ask, dont get!!!)

Ok David but is the domain name i have now not universal? Can i carry that with me to vodahost?

You mentioned that you had reserved a domain name, does this mean that you have bought and paid for it seperatly?

If so then you can ask vodahost to make that your main domain name when you open your account.

If you need the free domain name then you must signify that when you open your account. It will not be available unless you fill in the coupon code at the time of opening an account.

Try looking up the help messages for opening a new account.
