Thread: Importing mysql databases

Hi - I've had a read through the faq's and the sql forum, but couldn't find an answer.

I currently have a VPS with root access and I could easily import my sql databases when I moved to this VPS. The service has been poor so I'm moving to hopefully Vodahost.

I have a couple of databases that are about 16mb unzipped, but I know from experience that even gzipped it can be a pain importing using the phpmyadmin pages.

I really don't need the hassle of managing my own server anymore and don't want root access either.

If I was to move to Vodahost, would you guys import my sql databases once my account was created and i have uploaded the sql file to my vodahost web space?

Anybody?
