Thread: file server - acceptable usage?

I'm less interested in having having people see my spiffy web site than having a place to safely and privately keep copies of some files. In particular, I want to run incremental backups of 3 desktops in my home to an offsite server (i.e. vodahost).

During first month of use, I anticipate running FTP many times to transfer full backups of certain files followed by the incrementals.
