Thread: Help with Transfering emails and domain from SA

I am a proud Vodahost customer with two new domains
www.offventure.com (up and running built with Blue Voda) and www.oranjelone.com (still te be build from scratch ).
I also have two old domain with a South Africa host namely
www.offventure.co.za and www.oranjelone.co.za
I need help to do the following. I did give the SA host notice.
I want to keep all my email addresses from both .co.za domains.
One of the addresses is also used on my account with Voda.
I don't need the content on the .co.za domains (please dont replace my .com content with my .co.za content), but I will be glad if someone still uses the .co.za domain name (eg www.offventure.co.za) that they will be automatically directed to the .com domain. (www.offventure.com)
If it is possible - instructions please, and if you can do it for me - please do so.

Well, you can keep the domain names with any domain registrar and point the nameservers to VH. Then you go into your account with the registrar and point the .co.za as a redirect to the .com.

Your email accounts are currectly set up with the host you are using. Those will have to be redone after you move the domains (or point the nameservers) to VH.

You will have to recreate your email accounts in your VodaHost control panel...click the below to learn how...

How do I point the nameservers to VH? Do I contact the .co.za registar?

I assume this is to be done in the Cpanel /domain redirect. The first combobox I select Permanent 301. The second combobox I should then select the .co.za domain but it does'nt appears there and I can't type it in.! Will it automatically appears in the combobox for selection after the .co.za registar point the domains to VH servers?
