I have applied for a domain.com name with my provider...but it is $85 aus every 2 years...and when I found vodahost cost page and the domain name is free....as long as the running costs of the website is cheaper I reckon I'm on a winner here. :)

If you want/need to pay monthly it is
US$30 Setup fee + US$9.95 Per Month
If you buy a year at a time you pay
US$95.40 upfront, (no set up fee, and then you pay again every 12 months , (and it works out to US$7.95 pm)
Best deal is if you pay every three years. The cost would then be US$197 upfront, no set up fee, and then you pay every 36 months - (works out to US$5.47 pm)
