If I use a basic template to create a website and later on want to replace it with one that is essentially formatted the same, but with different colors etc. Can this be done and if so, how difficult is it to do with BlueVoda?

Hi ..

anything that you create with blue voda can be modified simply by making the change on your page and republishing ..

In this case, you would need to change the template on each of the pages you make and republish ..
